Wir haben uns ein wenig gewundert, warum in einem recht großen Gebiet nur der kleine Ort Montalbán in unserem Straßenatlas als sehr sehenswerts Kulturobjekt markiert ist. Beim Erreichen des Ortes sind alle Zweifel verflogen. Montalbán ist in die spektakuläre Felsenlandschaft „eingepasst“, die uns am Río Ancho begeistert hat. Und dann hat der alte Ort auch noch einen morbiden Charm.

We wondered a little why, in a fairly large area, only the small village of Montalbán was marked as very interesting culural monument in our road atlas. When we reached the place, all doubts vanished. Montalbán is „fitted“ into the spectacular rocky landscape that thrilled us at the Río Ancho. And then the old town also has a morbid charm.
