Zwischen Pirgos und Patras liegt im Landesinneren der Pinios-Stausee. Laut Womo-Führer sind bei niedrigem Wasserstand im Sommer seine trocken gefallenen Ufer unattraktiv, sein Wasser soll jedoch sehr sauber sein. Nach den schweren Regenfällen der vergangenen Tage kann der Wasserstand nicht niedrig sein. Das wollen wir sehen.
Auf der langen Staumauer stehen noch ausgedehnte Pfützen, die kleine Autos nur vorsichtig durchfahren. Wir finden am Ufer einen Parkplatz für unsere Mittagspause. Und während Frau Rumkommer mal wieder etwas leckeres zaubert, malt der Himmel bezaubernde Bilder ins Wasser.
