Bucht von Kotor
Endlich wollen wir die Altstadt von Kotor besichtigen. Es ist trocken, nicht mehr so kalt wie in den Bergen und sogar die Sonne lässt sich zeitweise blicken. Gute Voraussetzungen für einen Bummel durch dies Weltkulturerbe. Doch vor der Stadt liegen drei Kreuzfahrtschiffe, Kotor ist vor lauter Touristen kaum noch zu sehen. Das ist uns zuviel. Also ändern wir unsere Pläne und machen einen Spaziergang am Ufer der Bucht im Vorort Dobrota.
Bay of Kotor Finally we want to visit the old town of Kotor. It is dry, not as cold as in the mountains and even the sun can be seen from time to time. Good conditions for a stroll through this World Heritage Site. But in front of the city are three cruise ships, Kotor is barely visible because of tourists. That’s too much for us. So we change our plans and take a walk on the shore of the bay in the suburb Dobrota.
Später fahren wir über Tivat an der äußeren Bucht nach Lepetani und suchen den Leuchtturm an der Meerenge. Er ist nur klein, aber die Kapelle aus dem 15. Jahrhundert direkt daneben adelt ihn. Von hier geht der Blick auch nochmal über das Wasser nach Perast. Auf der Fähre über die Meerenge müssen wir warten, bis eines der Kreuzfahrtschiffe passiert ist.
Later we drive via Tivat on the outer bay to Lepetani and look for the lighthouse at the strait. It is only small, but the 15th century chapel next to it ennobles it. From here, the view also goes again over the water to Perast. On the ferry over the strait we have to wait until one of the cruise ships has passed.
