Mehr oder weniger parallel zur Europastraße 6 (E6) verläuft westlich des Gudbrandsdal die Peer Gynt Straße. Sie ist eine holperige, kurvige Erdstraße, die erst nach Entrichtung einer Maut (per Kreditkarte) zugänglich ist. Aber sie bietet wildromantische Landschaften und herrliche Ausblicke. Außerdem wird sie von vielen besonders schönen Wohnmobil- und Wohnwagen-Stellplätzen gesäumt, mit garantierter Nachtruhe.
Peer Gynt Road
More or less parallel to the European Road 6 (E6), the Peer Gynt Road runs west of Gudbrandsdal. It is a bumpy, winding earth road that is only accessible after paying a toll (by credit card). But it offers wildly romantic landscapes and magnificent views. It is also lined with many particularly nice camper and caravan pitches, with a guaranteed night’s rest.
