San Francisco gefällt uns, es hat Flair. Die Skyline ist geprägt von der Hochhaus-Silhouette des Central Business District. Aber an den Hügeln und auf deren Kämmen sehen wir viele „normale“, gepflegte Wohnhäuser. Eine so lebenswerte Stadt haben wir in den USA bisher nicht gesehen. Hinzu kommen ein angenehmes Klima und die Bucht. Hingucker ist die ehemalige Gefängnisinsel Alcatraz in der Bucht.
We like San Francisco, it has flair. The skyline is characterised by the high-rise silhouette of the Central Business District. But on the hills and ridges we see many „normal“, well-kept residential buildings. We have never seen such a liveable city in the USA before. It also has a pleasant climate and the bay. Eye-catcher is the former prison island of Alcatraz in the bay.
