Vermutlich ist es das bekannteste Gebäude in Transsilvanien (Siebenbürgen) und ganz Rumänien. Mit dem Schloss im Drakula-Roman hat es wenig gemein. Die historische Figur, auf die die Sage bezogen ist, verbrachte nur drei Nächte in Schloss Bran. Dennoch wird es als das „Drakula-Schloss“ vermarktet; der Rummel ist entsprechend. Immerhin, es ist ein hübsches Schloss.
Bran Castle It is probably the most famous building in Transylvania and all of Romania. It has little in common with the castle in the Dracula novel.
