In den Karula Nationalpark (Karula rahvuspark) im Süden Estlands führen nur ein paar lange Staubpisten. Der Park soll die für Estland charakteristische Natur schützen, aber auch zur Wiederbelebung der nachhaltigen Lebensweise und der Landkultur Südestlands beitragen. Am schönsten und größten See, dem Ähijärv mitten im Park, machen wir eine Wanderung. Sie führt an einem alten Bauernhof vorbei, am See entlang und durch Wald. Dort passieren wir einen der typischen Zeltplätze der staatlichen Forstverwaltung.
In the Karula National Park In the Karula National Park (Karula rahvuspark) in the south of Estonia only a few long dusty earth roads lead. The park is intended to protect the nature characteristic of Estonia, but also to contribute to the revitalization of the sustainable way of life and rural culture of southern Estonia. We take a hike at the most beautiful and largest lake, the Ähijärv in the middle of the park. It leads past an old farm, along the lake and through the forest. There we pass one of the typical campsites of the state forest administration.
