Ozonjuitji m’Bari
Die Wasserstelle Ozonjuitji m’Bari liegt weit entfernt westlich vom Camp Okaukuejo und noch weiter vom Dolomite Camp. Daher kommen nur wenige Besucher des Etosha Nationalpark hierher, Hin- und Rückweg sind lang. Für uns liegt es am Weg, wir sind ja von einem zu dem anderen Camp unterwegs. Von Wildtieren wird der Ort sehr stark frequentiert, jedenfalls bei unserem Besuch dort.
Auf einer großen, offenen Fläche um die gemauerte Wasserstelle herum tummeln sich unzählige Tiere diverser Spezies. Drei kapitale Elefanten dominieren die Tränke. Einer nach dem anderen wendet sich einem Tümpel zu, um sich dort mit Schlamm zu bespritzen. Springböcke, Zebras, Gnus und Oryx warten auf ihre Chance. Strauße, eine Giraffe und eine Gackeltrappe kommen hinzu.
The water hole Ozonjuitji m’Bari is located far to the west of Camp Okaukuejo and further from the Dolomite Camp. Therefore, only a few visitors to the Etosha National Park come here, the round-trip is long. For us it is on the way, we are traveling from one camp to the other. The place is very much frequented by wildlife, at least during our visit there.
On a large, open area around the masoned water hole scrimmage countless animals of various species. Three capital elephants dominate the watering place. One after another turns to a pool to splash mud there. Springbok, Zebra, Wildebeest and Oryx are waiting for their chance. Ostriches, a giraffe and a Northern black korhaan come by.
