In Winnipeg Beach, ungefähr 100 km nördlich von Winnipeg, haben wir einen herrlichen Übernachtungsplatz gefunden, oberhalb des Strandes bei der Marina. In der Nacht hat es gestürmt und so stark geregnet, dass wir befürchteten, der Sandboden könne uns unter dem Wohnmobil weggespült sein. Doch am Morgen ist alles in Ordnung, nur der Himmel ist noch unentschieden, ob er aufklaren soll. Und dann beobachten wir die Wasservögel, insbesondere die Pelikane, die so schön segeln.
At Winnipeg Beach, about 100 km north of Winnipeg, we have found a wonderful place to stay, above the beach at the marina. During the night, it stormed and rained so hard that we feared that the sandy bottom could be washed away under the motorhome. But in the morning everything is fine, only the sky is still undecided, if it should enlighten. And then we watch the waterfowl, especially the pelicans that sail so beautifully.
