Am Engelsholm See (Engelsholm Sø), westlich von Vejle, haben wir einen außergewöhnlich schönen und ruhigen Stellplatz zwischen Feldern und See. Ein Spaziergang führt uns zum Renaissanceschloss Engelsholm. Weil es jetzt einem sinnvollen, nicht feudalen Zweck dient, nämlich als Volkshochschule, kann es nicht von innen besichtigt werden.
At the Engelsholm Lake (Engelsholm Sø), west of Vejle, we have an exceptionally beautiful and quiet pitch between fields and lake. A walk takes us to the Renaissance Engelsholm Castle. Because it now serves a useful, non-feudal purpose, namely as an adult education centre, it cannot be visited from the inside.
Auf dem Weg zum Schloss kommen wir am Haus der Künstlerin Vibeke Skov vorbei. Das Haus am See und seine unmittelbare Umgebung sind kunstvoll mit ihren Glaskunstwerken gestaltet. Selbst das neue Parkplatz-Schild ist ein Glaskunstwerk.
On the way to the castle we pass the house of the artist Vibeke Skov. The house by the lake and its immediate surroundings are artistically decorated with her glass artworks. Even the new parking sign is a work of glass art.
