Vom südwestlichen Dänemark sind wir weiter die Nordseeküste entlang in Richtung Süden gefahren, ins deutsche Nordfriesland. Am Deich bei Cecilienkoog, nördlich der Halbinsel Nordstrand, haben wir auf einem kleinen Parkplatz einen sehr stillen Platz für die Nacht. Er liegt an der Einfahrt zum größten Naturschutzgebiet auf dem Festland Schleswig-Holsteins, dem Beltringharder Koog. Durch die Salzwasserlagune führt eine Straße zum Seedeich bei Lüttmoorsiel. Von hier werden geführte Wattwanderungen angeboten, im Sommer gibt es eine Badestelle mit Liegewiese am Deich. Lahnungen bilden riesige geometrische Muster im Watt. Die so genannte Lorenbahn, das Verkehrsmittel für die Bewohner der vorgelagerten Hallig Nordstrandischmoor, beginnt bzw. endet hier. Als wir von einem Spaziergang über den Deich zum Parkplatz zurückkehren, kommt gerade eine Lore von der Hallig an.
From southwestern Denmark we drove further south along the North Sea coast to the German North Frisia. At the dyke at Cecilienkoog, north of the Nordstrand peninsula, we have a very quiet place for the night in a small parking lot. It lies at the entrance to the largest nature reserve on the mainland of Schleswig-Holstein, the Beltringharder Koog. A road leads through the salt water lagoon to the sea dyke at Lüttmoorsiel. Guided mudflat hikes are offered from here, in summer there is a swimming area with a sunbathing area on the dyke. Groynes form huge geometric patterns in the tidal flats. The so-called trolley railway, the means of transport for the residents of the holm Nordstrandischmoor off the coast, begins and ends here. When we return from a walk across the dyke to the parking lot, a lorry is just arriving from the holm.
