Vilnius ist selbstverständlich weit mehr als die Altstadt. Gleich am gegenüber liegenden Ufer der Neris ragen die Stahl- und Glaspaläste in den Himmel. Einige kontrastieren extrem mit teils herunter gekommenen älteren Gebäuden.
Modern Vilnius Vilnius is of course much more than the old town. Directly on the opposite bank of the Neris, the steel and glass palaces tower into the sky. Some of them contrast extremely with the older buildings, some of which have run down.
