Hier gibt es ein sehr gut gemachtes, unaufdringliches Informationshaus, zwei Beobachtungstürme und eine Beobachtungshütte mit auklappbaren Sicht- und Fotografieröffnungen. Zwar sind Anfang August schon die meisten Vögel weg in den Süden, dennoch sind der See und das umgebende Feucht- und Waldgebiet sehenswert. Unter anderem sehen wir Wasserläufer und meterhohen Schachtelhalm. Auf dem langen, rollstuhlgerechten Bohlenweg posieren Libellen.
