Den Urwald Sababurg im Reinhardswald haben wir schon öfter besucht. Mittlerweile ist er recht bekannt und ein beliebtes touristisches Ziel. Das macht ein Dilemma deutlich: Die Natur soll geschützt und möglichst sich selbst überlassen werden, aber nur wenn viele Menschen die authentische, natürliche Wildnis sehen und erleben können, ist Naturschutz durchsetzbar. Immerhin, dieser Wald mit seinen charakteristischen uralten Bäumen und Baum-Ruinen ist nach wie vor sehenswert.
Sababurg primeval forest
The Sababurg primeval forest in the Reinhardswald we have visited several times already. It is now well known and a popular tourist destination. This makes a dilemma clear: nature should be protected and, if possible, left to its own devices, but nature conservation can only be enforced if many people can see and experience the authentic, natural wilderness. After all, this forest with its characteristic ancient trees and tree ruins is still worth seeing.
