Insgesamt dreimal haben wir Kanada bereist. Das erste Mal sind wir nur vier Wochen mit einem dort gemieteten Wohnmobil durch –> Yukon gereist, einschließlich zwei Abstecher nach Alaska.
Die zweite, längste Kanada-Reise folgt hier unter dem nächsten Hinweis.
Schließlich haben wir auf unserer neunmonatigen Nordamerika-Reise auf vier Etappen insgesamt 2½ Monate West- und Ost.Kanada bereist, siehe weiter unten auf dieser Seite →
We have travelled to Canada a total of three times. The first time we travelled through –> Yukon for just four weeks in a rented motorhome, including two detours to Alaska. The second, longest trip through Canada follows here under the next reference. Finally, we spent a total of 2½ months travelling through western and eastern Canada on four legs of our nine-month North American trip, see further down on this page →
Große Kanada-Rundreise / All Canada trip
Sechs Monate, von Mitte Mai bis Mitte November, sind wir mit unserem eigenen Wohnmobil durch Kanada gereist. Wir waren in praktisch allen Provinzen und Territorien (außer –> Yukon, das wir schon früher bereist haben, und Nunavut).
Six months, from mid-May to mid-November, we traveled with our own camper through Canada. We have been to virtually all provinces and territories (except –> Yukon, which we have traveled before, and Nunavut).
Die Reiseroute führte uns von Halifax durch Nova Scotia nach Neufundland, weiter über den Trans Labrador Highway, durch die Provinzen Québec, Ontario sowie die Prärie-Provinzen Manitoba und Saskatchewan. In Alberta und British Columbia ging es durch die Nationalparks der Rocky Mountains weiter nach Vancouver Island und nach Norden bis nach Yellowknife in den Northwest Territories.
Auf dem Weg zurück nach Osten haben wir andere Regionen von Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario und Québec bereist. Den Abschluss bildeten die Atlantik-Provinzen New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island und Nova Scotia.

The itinerary took us from Halifax through Nova Scotia to Newfoundland, along the Trans Labrador Highway, through the provinces of Québec, Ontario and the prairie provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan. In Alberta and British Columbia we continued through the National Parks of the Rocky Mountains to Vancouver Island and north to Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories.
On the way back to the East we traveled to other regions of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Québec. The finale was the Atlantic provinces of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia.

Durch Kanadas Westen und Osten / Through Canada’s west and east
.

Auf unserer neunmonatigen Nordamerika-Reise haben wir auch Teile Kanadas bereist. Vom Yellowstone Nationalpark in Wyoming, USA, sind wir durch West-Kanada, u.A. auf dem Alaska Highway, nach Alaska gereist. Nach sechs Wochen in Alaska haben wir auf anderer Route durch den Westen Kanadas nach Südosten die Großen Seen in den USA erreicht.
Den Abschluss der Reise bildeten die ostkanadischen Atlantik-Provinzen New Brunswick, Québec und Nova Scotia.

On our nine-month trip to North America, we also travelled through parts of Canada. From the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, USA, we travelled through western Canada, including on the Alaska Highway, to Alaska. After six weeks in Alaska, following a different route through western Canada to the south-east, we reached the Great Lakes in the USA.
The journey ended in the eastern Canadian Atlantic provinces of New Brunswick, Québec and Nova Scotia.
